Speaker: Andy Alexander
Title: Functional, anatomical and diffusion tensor imaging in Autism
Dr. Alexander is an Assistant Professor of Medical Physics and
Psychiatry, and Director of MR Physics Research at the W.M. Keck for
Functional Brain Imaging and Behavior. His area of expertise is
quantitative and functional methods for neuroimaging applications. The
talk will be an overview of imaging projects in subjects with Autism
using fMRI (processing of facial expression), structural brain imaging
of the corpus callosum, and diffusion tensor imaging (corpus callosum)
and some recent work in white matter tractography. This work was
performed at both the University of Wisconsin and University of Utah.
