MR-guided Electrophysiology and the development of a Mini-MRI for the NICU (Newborn ICU)
Dr. Dumoulin is a well known MRI physicist who spent much of his career at General Electric's Research and Development Center in Niskayuan, NY, where he was a part of the team that developed the first industrial prototype MR scanners. During his career he was an inventor of MRI phase contrast angiography, dynamic MRI, and interventional MRI (resulting in over 100 patents). In 2008 he moved to Cincinnati Children's where he became the scientific director of the Imaging Research Center. His current research interests include MRI of neonates, MR-guided Focused Ultrasound Ablation, and Interventional MR.
