UCAIR exists to improve medical (and other) imaging. That means better X-rays, better CT scans, better MR images... better healthcare.

Take a look at some of our achievements in cardiac imaging, brain imaging, blood vessel imaging and cancer imaging.

We're doing this by researching new imaging technologies and methodologies, by educating students at all levels and by collaborating with scientists across the campus, the nation and the world.

But we cannot do this without your help.

We can, and do, fund most of the costs of research by winning grants from institutions such as the National Institutes of Health. But it is the generous gifts from our friends and supporters which allow us to study new and exciting problems. Ultimately these gifts provide the flexibility to create new areas of research, and make our research program more viable and responsive to the needs of the community.

Gifts can be in the form of donations to our research endowment, or contributions towards endowed chairs to support the salary of faculty who develop these innovative studies.
